Sooo what to talk about.
Well did some collecting for Surf Life Saving today outside Kelston Shopping Centre. And we actually made quite a bit of money. I thought i'd put on my sweet and innocent face and voice and ask for money, and as people were going to give it either Paigey or my sister would shove their buckets in front of them before they had a chance to give it to me. CHEATERS! Haha.
Eaters Are Cheaters - Apparently.
So Paigey was asking this guy if he wanted to donate and she was holding out her bucket and the sticker and he said "yeah" and then grabbed the sticker and walked off. It was pretty funny. I guess it was one of those 'gotta be there to get it". Haha
Hmmm trying to think of my next Nit Pick, which isnt actually hard. Its just the case of trying to figure out which one I want to talk about. And trust me there is quite a few.
And before you think I have issues..I don't it's just that i've never really had anywhere to vent my frustrations, thus the creation of my blog.
By the way is wearing bare feet all the time considered 'hori'? Maybe that's why I wasn't getting as much money as the kids. Oh well my view on bare feet is that it is completely normal and there's nothing wrong with letting your feet and toes be free. =D
Oh did you know it's National Jandal Day in New Zealand.
Nit Pick Time: Is sick of people taking me for granted because of my age. Yes I may be 19, Yes I am the owner, not an employee, No there is no other Director, Yes you can talk to me about that, Yes I am experienced enough, Yes I have been doing it for nearly 6 years now. Like I understand where people are coming from and that if you look at most 19 year olds they're not in the same position as me. But why do I have to waste five minutes of mine and your time just reiterating my age, birth date, and that i'm the only director of the company. My birth year is 91' not 81'. And Yeah I'm 19. Its like a neverending story. (Awesome Movie That One Haha)
And to kind of join onto my last nit pick, when asked why I don't have a boyfriend. Its not because I have issues, it's just simply A) because I don't really go out much because I have limited time, so I don't meet people, B) Cause YES I'm still waiting for a 19 year old that is almost my equivalent - At the same time I dont mean you have to own your own business, house ra de ra. Just that you should be able to support yourself because if you think a relationship is about one person supporting another..Its not. A relationship only lasts if you can both support each other. C) I just dont really like the people I have met so far - too pushy and think that they are god's gift to earth (Its not attractive to have such a HUGE ego) - Like That Song Too. D) I'm still kinda sorta waiting for the 'one' which is out there somewhere, BUT i'm not gonna stop myself from meeting two, three and four if you get my drift. I'm no die hard romantic but I know it will happen some day. E) I have a rough idea of what i'm looking for fully in a person and so far there has only been one person who comes really close to it, granted not everyone is perfect. We come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.
Right, my rant is over. I shall rant some more tomorrow.
