So had a relatively okay today I guess.
Went to the mall for some lunch and watched as some rude lady working for the ASB ripped into a poor guy working at the Shamiana. Like I mean ripping into him like he was a piece of crap which I think is totally uncalled for, and then looked at me & Bobby as if to say 'I'm Right".! Which we didnt think she was, so she got the short sharp shock of us walking away.
Also went shopping today for my Korean student so she could have some new swimming togs for her school trip tomorrow, yes i'm such a nice homestay sister. Haha. Although she was extremely picky and was not used to our New Zealand styled swimwear aka THE BIKINI! So covered top it was and shorts, and we nearly resorted to a rash shirt (OHEMGEE), but I safely directed her elsewhere.
So moving on now to...Its T-Shirt Time - Jokes Really Itsss..
Nit Pick Time: People who don't pay their respect to workers because 'its their job to serve you' or so you think. Get this right was at the mall, and the lady started having an argument with the poor guy behind the counter because she demanded YES I said demanded that because she goes there all the time that she should get her lunch for FREE. Where does she get of thinking everything is free, she's a banker she should know not everything is free. So the guy offered her a naan bread to go with her curry and she took it, as she was walking away she kept complaining and he said but I gave you a free naan to which she took it out of her plastic bag and chucked the naan at the man. Now that's rude enough! So Bobby and I proceeded to make our order and let the guy know not to let it get to him at which point she comes back (and interrupts our order I might add) to have another moan claiming that she will not eat this curry today (Ah Well Eat it later see if I care) and she would like her money back. And all this time she's telling him he's a terrible worker and she's going to report him to management and who would hire someone like him. She then looked at us, like we had her back - but psych I was getting more inclined to tell her what I really thought (and it wasnt nice). Like seriously what is this world coming to - Is it suddenly okay to harrass people because you want something FREE! I mean how rude. It wasn't his decision to make as he was just an employee only the manager has the right to. I would of understood if she was a bit bummed about it, but to yell at this guy like it was his duty to hang on your every word. I know there's a saying "The customers are always right, because they pay my wages". By why should we be succumbed to this harrasment from a customer, I guess for the pure fact that it could kill a bit of your business as word gets around. But I think its totally unfair. I think customers need to start being more respectful, because even though 'it's their job' they should still be treated like a human being and not something you can walk all over. I mean like MJ said "Heal The World" and you can't expect to do that when people simply no longer have any respect for anyone or hold any value for things anymore. So I don't know this could just be me rambling on a bit. But reflect on it, how do you treat the people who serve you at the food court, or the people that take your purchases at the clothing store? Could you improve it?
So I guess that's enough from me for today, I shall see you all again tomorrow for more Nit Pick Time with missmillyxx
